Art and Sound through Ocean Drums and Rattles is a community group session project led by visual artist June Farnsworth in Western Newfoundland. Through accessible sessions, participants will create ocean drums and natural rattles using sustainable materials, then explore their finished instruments through sound, rhythm, visual design, and mindful listening.
The project connects artmaking with place, well-being, and community engagement while supporting the development of a collective body of functional sound-based artwork.
